| By Imperial Decree: [The monk] Saichō [holding] the rank of Rank of Dentō Hosshi, is hence granted the Rank of Dentō Daihosshi. | Supplementary Account: On the fourteenth day of the second month of the thirteenth year of Kōnin, the Imperial Decree bestowed upon [Saichō] the Rank of Dentō Daihosshi.
