The Tendai School is divided into a number of lineages. Our own lineage is the Orthodox Sanmon Lineage 山門派 centred at the Head Temple of Enryakuji 延暦寺, and all of the strands of Tendai which have been transmitted to the West presently, are of this same Sanmon Lineage.
On this page however, we intend to provide you with the contact information for all of the Tendai, Tiantai and Cheontae lineages which operate websites and therefore can be contacted by those interested in what they have to offer.
