| The śrāmaṇera Saichō, is eighteen years of age, [and is] registered as a resident of Furuchi Village [in the] Shiga County [of Ōmi Province, under] the Household Head Mitsu no Obito Kiyotari, holder of the Lower-grade of the Senior Eighth Rank, [and with whom] Hirono (i.e. Saichō) is related (lit. ‘same surname’).
